Full Day Red Tour (09:00 -16:00)

Our first real encounter with Cappadocia will be in the Martian landscape of Dervent Valley. We will visit the "Fairy Chimneys" of Pasabag, where the sound of the wind is in harmony with the songs of the fairies. From here we will stop in Avanos, a popular place with its cobblestone streets, river views and clay pottery production; the center of terracotta art. The ceramic trade and numerous pottery factories in this region date back to the Hittites. Clay the red alluvium of the Kızılırmak River was used for ceramics. We will visit the ceramics and tile center to see how these ceramics were made by hand, and then we will have lunch. After lunch we will visit the famous Zelve Open Air Museum to see the best examples of Byzantine art in Cappadocia. The people of Goreme realized many years ago that these soft rocks could be easily carved to create houses, churches and monasteries. It also contains many examples of Byzantine art the post-iconoclastic period. Afterwards, you visit a carpet cooperative and witness how exquisite Turkish carpets are woven by hand. We finish the tour with a panoramic view of the Cappadocia valleys.

Full Day South Tour (09:00 -16:00)

After picking you up from your hotel, you will visit the Red Valley Çavuşin and discover the famous rock-carved churches for 2 km. Then you will see the village of Çavuşin. Çavuşin was abandoned decades ago due to an avalanche. There are rock-carved dwellings and stone houses as well as monks' houses in Çavuşin. Afterwards, you will have lunch and visit Güvercinlik Valley. In the afternoon, you will see the Underground City where Christians live. The underground city was originally carved as eight floors; however, only four floors are open to visitors now. During the war, approximately 5000 people took shelter in these underground cities. The tunnels are still used today as storage areas, barns and cellars.

Full Day Green Tour (09:00 -16:00)

You will start your tour with the magnificent view of the fairy chimneys, rock formations and cave houses of Göreme and then continue towards the underground city of Cappadocia. This underground city extends to a depth of approximately 85 m and contains all the necessary rooms found in an underground city (barns, cellars, storage rooms, dining halls, churches, wineries etc.); A large section on the second floor was a missionary school with study rooms. As soon as we finish here, we will head towards Ihlara Valley. This valley is 16 km long and is covered with rock-carved churches and houses on both sides. You will discover hidden churches by walking along the river in the valley for about 4 km. At the end of your walk, you will have lunch in Belisırma Village by the river. After finishing your meal, you will take a short break at Yaprakhisar Panorama point to see the Selime Monastery (this is also where the famous "Star Wars" movie was shot).
